MY MISSION

Whether working with the ultimate decision maker as a business coach or serving as a mentor to a member of the staff, my efforts are focused toward helping the business navigate through difficult situations - some potentially critical to its very existence. The process can involve some tough choices and decisions that may seem to go against the very culture deemed by some to have made the business successful. If the business is to go forward, the goal must be to preserve all that is valued of the current culture while making the process of change as palatable and rewarding as possible. Having the input of an outsider's perspective can be a critical aid to the decision making process.

MY EXPERIENCE

Beginning on the manufacturing floor of a family owned business, I have led and managed at all organizational levels. As a result, I understand the needs and viewpoints of the people at each of these levels and believe they need to be given serious consideration as a part of making any critical business decision. In fulfilling roles such as CEO, president and operating partner in a number of companies, I have gained the hands-on experience necessary to provide a business leader with invaluable insights not typically available from an outside advisor. 

 

My leadership experience in business extends deeply into my private life where, over the years, I have been an active member of a number of social, civic and professional organizations eventually taking the reins of most of the groups I joined. Leading in a volunteer environment teaches a different, but complementary, set of management skills. Skills that, when passed to the business leader, will help in the negotiation of many a successful outcome.
